This collection includes a selection of familiar and newly discovered works by Franz Liszt.
These shorter pieces cover a range of various styles and musical languages which Liszt adopted during his long life, as well as an insight into popular 19th century genres. The main intention is not virtuosity or technical problems, but working on sound, phrasing and musical shape and expression.

Carefully selected and arranged to sound rewarding on the harp, the pieces were chosen out of musical curiosity, to provide a musical insight, as well as a complementary balance and addition to the commonly played harp literature of that period.
