Scoring: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Horn, Bassoon

"The pieces I decided upon that form the Undulations suite, were chosen because they seemed to offer opportunities for all six instruments to perform in a solo capacity. In general, piano pieces with the characteristic striding bassline were avoided for fear of restricting lower wind instruments to that line throughout a movement, whereas exploiting the rich tones of low Bass Clarinet and inner melodies highlighted on the French Horn were definitely things to be exploited; the descending chromatic triads towards the end of the title movement itself, with its echoes of ‘double choir’ writing, was also too good an opportunity to miss! I hope you enjoy playing my arrangements."
